I was born in Birmingham, Alabama 

I have hitch-hiked over 1000 miles

I have climbed an active volcano

I have played in moonbeams on Mayan pyramids

I have sipped coffee with bedouins on sand dunes

I have swum with barracudas and sailed into the sunset

I have drunk from the Nile

I have busked through Mexico

I have seen the confluence of the Blue and White Nile 

I have drunk moonshine

I have dined with thieves 

I have marched for justice

I have stumbled and cried

I have traveled alone

I have loved and been loved

I have been a very lucky human

I have much more to do.
